• Image of A Democratic Way of Life print

about the artwork, from the artist:
I read this paragraph in Eleanor Roosevelt's slim treatise The Morality of Democracy which was published in 1940, and it struck me that our eras are not so different. I believe strongly that we all do better when we help each other. We can't let greed and fear take over. We must stand hand in hand and fight for our democracy.
